Your body is approximately 60-80% water - so perhaps you’ll agree that the quality of your water plays a significant part in your wellbeing? It’s only within the last year that I began researching and personally experiencing the incredible benefits that come from simply investing in water which nourishes the body, as opposed to harming it.
Our water should be living - like that of the healing waters in the Nordenau valley, in Germany and the Hunza valley, in Pakistan. These two water sources have an important attribute in common - the water is hydrogen rich that acts as a strong anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory. In an ideal world, we would all have access to unpolluted and vibrant mountain stream water.
Unfortunately, as tap water in cities is often contaminated with chlorine, lead, sediment, rust and bacteria, there has been a significant rise in demand for water filters and water ionizers to have clean water sources at
home. Filtration is an important first step when it comes to optimizing the health of your water e.g. with Brita filters.
However, water ionizers takes this a step further through enriching the water with hydrogen. This water is also known as Electrolysed Reduced Water (ERW). There is increasing scientific research showing that acidity leads to inflammation which in turn is the root cause of many chronic diseases. So, by ensuring that both your water source is alkaline, you are supporting your body in maintaining optimum conditions for cell function.
Additionally, ‘The True Power of Water’ by Masaru Emoto found that water is also impacted by emotional environment, being that of words and music. It suggests that the energy in water is conscious. Water forms different crystal formations when spoken to in a positive or negative way and when played different genres of music. Perhaps, this is why, we can feel the impact of kind or cruel words, as it is impacting water and hence our bodies at a cellular level?
Wellbeing is of such importance, not only for our own happiness, but for that of our families and the wider community. So why not begin with turning your attention towards the compound that makes up the majority of your incredible body?
